Félice Knol is a multidisciplinary artist based in London and Amsterdam. Her artistic practice investigates the intersection between the social and the visual.

Human interaction and social behaviour are recurring themes in Félice Knol’s work. She is interested in the function of art as a mediator and she investigates the social possibilities of photographic art. Through spatial intervention and alternative forms of documentation, Knol renders the medium of photography into the realm of sculpture.

Knol graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art (London), and holds a BSc Degree in Sociology (University of Amsterdam) with an Erasmus Exchange at Goldsmiths University of London. She completed her Foundation Course at Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam. Her background in Sociology and Art History is the foundation of her research based projects.
